On the 24th of October REBECa hosted a joint workshop between the three large research projects on renewable energy funded by the Strategic Research Council: REBECa, CEEH, and CEESA. Key issues at the workshop were projections of energy use in the transport sector, and the use of scenario based analysis in addressing energy transition.

At the workshop the need for mainstreaming assumptions e.g. regarding fossil fuels prices was highlighted. Also, a series of research topics was identified, which could benefit from further collaboration between individual work packages cutting across project boundaries.
