2010-10-21: Final reports on the Socio-Economic WtW Analysis of Biofuels have been published

The use of biofuels for cars pays off when oil becomes too expensive

This is the conclusion of a new analysis published by the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) at Aarhus University. Senior Researcher Flemming Møller and Researcher Erik Slentø have examined the socio-economic gain of exchanging, to a varying degree, fossil diesel and gasoline with biofuels based on grain, rape and straw. The analysis has been carried out using the scenarios developed within the REBECa framework.
